This blog is for all professionals with electrical panel building activity, wanting to exchange about panel building practices, point of view, news, standards … and why not also to make panel building profession more visible to other actors on the market, to attract young people …
Why I created this blog
After some years of experience in Panel Building, I perceived that near nothing can be found on the web about panel building profession, environment, practices, tools … only information about products inside manufacturers web sites.
So I decided to “be born”, in April 2009 !
My idea is to cover the topics :
* share experience and good ideas, to improve practices (tendering, design, manufacturing …)
* discuss technical & technological evolutions, new or advanced solutions, new standards and their impacts …
* share tips & tricks about useful tools & software
* exchange news and trends on business and market, on panel building profession evolution
* highlight practices from other actors on the market which could be valuable and relevant for panel building profession
I don’t plan to discuss about product ranges from manufacturers (devices, enclosure systems …).
Who am I ?
I am Dan, as you already know, with a group of individuals : Laurent, Jean-François, Florence, their friends & relations. They work at Schneider Electric.
